Hey All,

Please pray for our neighborhood. Saturday afternoon there was a devastating accident a few blocks from our house. You can read more here.

Another neighbor, Mara and I also found our neighbor, Mrs. Helen, collapsed on her floor last evening. The fire department came, knocked down her door and took her to a near by hospital. She suffered from a stroke. Mara was there last night and again this morning. She has very little family around so please pray for Mara as she tries to comfort her during this time. Thank you!

Monday, a girl was shot and killed in a playground 3 or 4 blocks from our old house, a playground we used to frequent with Brinley. It makes me sick to think of the life that was cut short for senseless reasons. Its also sad to see the treatment of our neighbors after such an event (ie. police picking up trucks full of black males to interrogate).

Please keep the family of the girl in your prayers as well as our neighborhood, thanks!
